Ham radio logbook layout
Logbook handling Swisslog provides very powerful tools (basic and advanced): printing, autofilters and custom filters, sorting, field grouping, data exporting in many formats. e.g if you have a special call then Enter the special call to Callsign field and your call to this field. Callsign The callsign you use to log QSOs. I suppose I could also save my logbook which is backed up on another disk and re-install it and see what happens too, but that's a lot of work and then re-configuring things to the way I have it now is. Ham Radio Deluxe (HRD) is an integrated suite of products for amateur radio. You can change your Logbook properties at any time from File Menu. As I remember the program just wanted to put everything in the root or C:\ I forget how I set this thing up, but I probably let the program just do what it wanted other than to put it into the \Program Files(x86). I have the HRD.exe under C:\Program Files(x86)\HRD Software, LLC\Ham Radio Deluxe and also all the solar files are in that same directory. My file structure is also completely different than yours.
I'm pretty sure I've got things named and typed correctly. But then the '30 Day Solar Data' tab seems OK, it's dated. I wonder if that's screwing up the tabs or something, I know sometimes the blank spaces on web pages are not the same as blank spaces in. I just copied the Predict.txt from the web page to Notepad and renamed it all those 3 file names. I wonder if there's an error in the 'Predict*.txt file? I may try copying it from NOAA again.
I even tried turning everything off and restarting, same thing. 'Unspecified Error' and there is nothing in the 'Solar Cycle Progression' window.
I also copied the 'Predict.txt' to the three SunspotPredict***.txt, made all 5 of those files we're talking about read only and I still get the same thing. It's amazing how HRW will let you configure things almost any way you want.
#Ham radio logbook layout how to
I figured out how to get the 'Solar Cycle Progression' back into my side window, it would open from View/Solar Cycle into the main logbook window, so I grabbed the top handle and dragged it over into the side window which includes DX Spots, etc.
